This is a tower that I built for an Apocalypse. I double-checked the rules, and this house is compatible with the Freetime Rules, as created on Boolprop. It has also been tested for playableness, and everything seems to work.

It costs approximately $37,000, which a founder who graduated college should easily be able to afford. However, if the price needs to be reduced, there are a number of things that can be removed, such as most of the beds, the cribs, the bunny heads, the wallpaper, most of the gates, most of the counters and sinks, two of the toilets, one chess table and chairs, the kitchen table and chairs, and the windows. The floors could be made slightly cheaper (by switching to a $2 carpet), and the beds could also be exchanged for cheaper versions.

Obviously, this will not be an achievable house for an adult start founder, but I built it for myself partly as a template - so that I can build a house to that pattern if I do play an adult start. If done slowly, this could be an achievable adult start house.

All items are Maxis. However, the lot does require all EPs, as it was built in a game with all EPs. If anyone does not have all EPs and would like to copy my layout, please feel free to - I tried to make the pictures clear enough that such a thing would be possible.

And, for those who would like to view the lot, here are some pictures and description.

Apoc Outside

First, we have a picture of the lot from the front. This shows the awning on the roof, which is there to cover anything you choose to place on top of it.

Apoc Ground

The ground floor has a fenced in staircase area, so non-friends can be kept out. The chess table is there to help turn non-friends into friends. There are the requisite 4 columns. The car is the buildable car from FT. The small table to the right is for bills.

Apoc 1

The first floor has three areas: a bedroom, a porch, and a main room.

The bedroom can hold two sims, but the beds are immovable; therefore, if you are not doing an adult start, I suggest getting rid of this bedroom (or at least removing the beds) until you need it. I placed it mostly to show where it could go.

The porch has the grill (for cooking), a sink (which is blocked off by a fence and gate, so spongebathers don't bother everyone else on the porch), and the phone.

The main room has another chess table, a bookcase and recliner (which can be used for sleeping, and is a one tile object), the computer and chair (turned away, so sims don't use it autonomously when it's illegal), the radio, the fridge (also turned away, so sims don't use it autonomously), counters, and a small table and chairs.

Apoc 2

The second floor has five main areas: the master bedroom, the small bedroom, the porch, the toilet rooms, and the hallway/nursery.

The master bedroom is its own room, so that sims don't chase others out to woohoo when you need them to get pregnant.

The small bedroom holds two beds and can be used for anyone.

The porch has two sink areas (again gated off), and the mirror.

There are three small rooms for toilets, so multiple sims can go at once.

The hallway/nursery holds the cribs and bunny heads. I highly recommend selling one of these before you move a founder in; you shouldn't need two cribs unless you have twins, and it's better not to place immovable objects until you need them.

Apoc Roof

And finally, there is the roof. It is fenced off, with a gate, so that you can keep your sims from going up there. The small area to the side is meant for important tools, such as the ACR adjuster, sim blender, batbox, or days left shrub.

The rest of the roof is meant for items that you can't get rid of but can't use, such as date gifts, spousal inventories, networking gifts, and items that you are allowed to buy to fill wants but don't want your sims using. I also suggest keeping spoiled food up here, so that your sims will not throw it out - the fence around the edge will stop it from ruining the environment.

If you want your sims to be able to use part of the roof (when you're allowed to use bigger items and have no space for them in the house, or for an energizer that your founder brings home from college), but not all of it, you can always use a fence to make part of the roof accessible, but not all of it.
